THE ONLY bobcat THAT KNOWS ALOT OF YOU HAVE HAD THIS IMAGE IN YOUR PEA BRAIN BUT DUE TO POOR SHOOTING TACTICS I'M STILL KICKIN!!!

Cool frame on that deer. They always make you wondered what they would've looked like in their prime. Nice job!

Nice buck Abe. Great high frame.
Give me a call so I know where to put my son for his tag.

That is cool how his G2's are so close together. GREAT back forks, and the fronts aren't bad either. He may have grown into a dandy in a few years, but he would be a tough one for me to pass. He looks like he's better than anything I've killed.

Sweet!
Love those back forks!

By the way,
I live in UT.
There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. Sorry Bess...I looked for that 190+ buck for 10 days and only got my swaro's on one but couldnt finish the deal. We arived and set camp up two days befor the season opened. Next two mornings we woke up and headed up the mountain an hour befor light. The weather was cold and wet and dear were starting to move. Bucks were still together and very high on the mountain. Come opening morning we were at 10,000 feet and looking into a dark open basin that was quiet and dark the two previous mornings but today it was a major highway through the lower mountain roads. There was a time would I saw four trucks all about 50 feet apart following each other up one road. Once the light hit the mountain I found a few of the bucks I had been watching for months on the side of the hill at around 9,000 feet. They were standing and feeding in the scatered pines. There was three bucks together the largest being heavy 4x4 that I guessed would score around 175 to 180. I sat there for what seamed like a good hour trying to decide if I wanted to end my season early on this buck. Well the decision was finaly made for me as I watched the bucks heads spin towards the ridge and after a brief second they were bounding across the mountain and gone! I looked back to there original location to find two guys walking skylined on top of the ridge and standing out like a Chiefs fan at a Raiders game. We decided to get up and start moving from draw to draw. We asumed that the farther we walked in the less presure there would be. WRONG. Even though I was at the top of the mountain I could see what seamed like dozens of people at the bottoms. Deer where running non-stop. We did have several opertunities at 150 class bucks but thats not what we were after. We did hear alot of shots that day. On the way back to camp we did see a small two point hanging from a tree behind a mini van that had been cut in half right through the backstraps and wasnt skined. It is entertaining to see how some people work.

Next few days turned warm and the deer were spending there days deep in the willows and trees. If you didnt see the deer right at day light you were forced to walk draws and push the deer out. We were seeing alot of deer this way but nothing that was a shooter.

Its now the fifth day of my hunt and the next day my nephew will be comming in. He is 13 and I really wanted to be done by the time he arived so I could focus on his hunt. We headed out early into an area I like to call the "slide". We slowly walked in about a mile and sat down at our regular glassing point. After about an hour I found a two bucks feeding over two miles away. I set the spotter on him and fought the wind and the buck to get a good look at there head gear. Finally the bucks looked up and the wind stoped for a brief second. One buck was a 150 class 3x3 but the other was a 200 inch 5x7 with a spread I guessed at 29 inchs. He had an inline point around 8 inchs long between his g3 and g4 on his right side along with two 3 inch cheaters that went straight out off his g4. His left side had a typical large 4x4 frame with a two inch cheater off his g4. AWESOME buck!! I put together a game plan and started my hike. My cousin stayed and watched the buck through the spotter. We went over our hand signals and I was on my way. With that buck racing through my mind I covered that two miles in 45 minutes. I sat there glassing the hill side for the bucks. I didnt see them. I could tell from hand signals that the bucks had moved around the hill side. I slowly walked up to just below the ridge so I could move through the scatered pines. I would take a few steps and glass. After covering another 500 yards I reached the end of the ridge where I could see the whole mountain. I glassed under every tree and bush but the buck seamed to be gone. I placed the rifle back on my shoulder and stood up fealing frustrated and turned to walk out. As I turned I heared the infamous "blow". I turned back around and the bauc had been laying 100 yards ahead of me behind a mahogany. He could see me but I couldnt see him. I droped to a knee and fliped open the scope and at the same time he started to move. I couldnt get the cross hairs on him in time and he was history. After a two hour walk out and me beating myself up with what could haves I was back at our rock. We came up with a new plan and headed out. As I was getting back to the main trail I noticed a hill that was bare on our side but I always see does working the hill side. I decided to walk to the hill to give it a look. As I walked around the hill that wasnta half mile around I couldnt belive the diferance in terrain. One side was sheet grass and flat. The other side was goves of aspen trees and scattered pine. I walked over a small ridge and there at 94 yards was a bucks. He was just behind some small aspens. I sat there trying to get a good look at the head. I could see good backs and ok fronts but couldnt get a width. After about 15 minutes the buck turned and looked at me and I decided he was a good buck to take. Right then the buck moved into the aspens and out of sight. It was a very small aspen set and I could see all sides. The buck was inside the trees trying to find a bed. I got set up and started makeing some noises and exspecting the buck to hear me and come out like he was on fire but to my surprise he stoped moving. I threw a few good size rocks in the trees that I was only 40 yards above now. I would hear him move a few feet and stop. This buck and I played cat and mouse for a good 45 minutes. I was slowly moving around the top of the trees hopeing to see the buck. I was now on his side of the trees. I took a few steps in his direction when he came bolting out. He ran down the hill at full speed and into another aspen set that was very large. He was at 200 yards when I last had seen him. He was moving to fast to make an ethical shot on him so I never let the bullet fly. I watched him shoot into a small opening in the trees where I lost sight of him. He could have turned left into the trees nad been gone or he could have went straight over the ridge and disapeared but I had no idea where he was. After glassing for 20 minutes I again set the rifle on my shoulder and turned uphill to go. I stoped when I heared the buck take a few steps. I turned to see him broadside looking at me at 270 yards. I droped to my butt and got set ang let the bullet fly. I hit him and droped him on the ridge. He wasnt the monster I had been after that morning but he was a great buck. After a good pack out we were in camp stareing at a good buck and drinking a few crown and cokes. Still excited about my nephews tag to come. Bryan and I (Bryan21 on the board) spent a total of 10 days in the mountains and had a great hunt. Cant wait to do it again!!!!!
