Here is a picture of a buck my Mom shot yesterday in Nevada. The photo quality isn't the best but if you look close you can see all the extras. The buck is 28" wide and has 7 scoreable points on the left and 5 scoreable points on the right. The buck scores will Gross in the Mid-180's and will most likely net in the high-170's. Great job to both my Mom and my little brother for guiding her in on her biggest muley to date! Enjoy!

Good shot Mom that's a very nice looking buck,
Congrats put that one on the wall.Good picture in the snow like the extras on that buck.

Character! Those back forks are sweet! How old do you think that deer was? A lot of potential. Congrats.

When did us westerners start counting the eye guards as a scoreable point? To my way of counting that's a 4x5. Anyway your Mom kicks A$$. That's a real beauty. Good job MOM!!!

Nice buck, how high in the rubies did you go or have the buck moved down with the weather.

Awesome buck, thanks for sharing it...Snow already???? It's fixen to get good for the NM deer hunts too...

"When did us westerners start counting the eye guards as a

I believe he qualified his assertation by stating "scorable points." Need an explaination on what a "scorable point" is?

Awesome buck!!

Boone and Crockett Scores the Eye Guard as the G1, although some states don't count the brow tine when punching the tag, like NV. The Brow is the G1, then the front point is the main, back is the G2, and the middle two are the G3 and G4, plus the extra 2 points on the left side. 5 Scorable points on the right, and 7 on the left.

Anything over an inch is scoprable right? Man I would have shot that deer in heartbeat!

I love the character on that buck. Especially the front fork on the right side.

arliss, yes, everything over an inch is scoreable but only if the length is longer than the thickness of the point. If I'm wrong then somebody please correct me. fatrooster.

If that buck grew that point and it on his rack I believe it scores, But hey that just me, Nice Buck glad to see mom out hunting with her sons,I'm betting she don't have to worry about where they are and what they are doing.
