holy cow the deer on the no. slope have some huge bodies.i spent 3 days during the end of sept. hunting the north central part of the state, and the yearling bucks looked like 4 mo. old fawns. in fact most of the deer were under 150#. last week hunting elk on the no.slope i saw numerous does at or above the 220# mark.must be a genetics thing. have you guys ever noticed this from one area to the next in the same state? both areas are full of bitterbrush.

I AIN'T ARGUEING THEY WEREN'T BIG DOES!!!

BUT I'LL BET YOU MOST OF THEM AIN'T 220!!!

NOT ONLY HAVE WE LOST HORN SIZE THE BODIES ARE DIMINISHING TOO!!!

I'VE SEEN SOME DECENT BUCKS ON ELK RIDGE,ALOT OF THEM HAVE PISSCUTTER BODIES,I'M TALKING DINK SIZE!!!

MAKES FOR AN EASIER DRAG!!!

THIS IS MY NEW GUN,YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT,YOU'LL LIKE IT A HELL OF A LOT LESS WHEN IT HITS ITS DESTINATION!!!

well bessy if you're right than the deer in northern utah that i saw weren't much over 90#. another question for ya; i saw probably 20 yearling bucks in a small area during the elk hunt in the NE unit how many will make it to next year?
