My nephew's first buck

My Nephew shot this young Forky opening day of the Elk Youth Hunt on the Navajo Rez. He shot just at last light. Funny, his first shot was a total miss. The buck just danced to the left and went back to eating, he didnt know what was going on at all. He was with two other bucks. This buck was the closest and out in the open. Second shot put him down. Not bad for his first buck. First year hunting.

Hey Guys, thanks for the kool comments. My mistake, as you can tell it's not elk season. Although we did have a youth elk tag, we ate that, lol. He and my duaghter were counting the days until opening day. Post those pics later. This was the Deer Youth Hunt. Yeah, he was way stoked about the hunt.
