LAST EDITED ON Nov-24-08 AT 08:34AM (MST)[p]No tags, I didn't get drawn this year. But come Dec, I will be out with the bow. I have glassed some of the biggest bucks I have seen in a few years. I am going to try to stick one of them during the rut.
How have you been and did you take a nice one this year? It is like a kick in the nuts! I didn't get drawn for five years, then in 07 finally got drawn and in 08 no luck again. There is just something wrong with that?

Bummer on the tags.
I drew unit 31 whitetail that starts on friday!
I also drew unit 23 cow tag in New Mexico that starts on saturday!
2 tags, 2 states at the same time! I am excited and up to the task though. I am especially excited for the cooler (and maybe wet) weather that is on the way. Depending on how my hunt goes will depend on if I start bowhunting in Dec. or Jan., he he. I have been doing a little scouting low on the mountain recently and havent been disappointed.
