Five Preferance Points

Long time reader and first time poster! I currently have five points for deer in Colorado, and would like some ideas on where a guy could spend them before I get too old to chase deer anymore! My job has me tied up until third or fouth season, and I've been hunting there for the last ten years during the third season around State Bridge. We've done well but would like to try southern Colorado for a change. Nothing wrong with State Bridge, just too few animals and way too much snow when it storms! Any suggestions? Not looking for a 190, just a decent 160 to 180 if a guy gets out and beats the bushes!

I think any of the 3rd season around Gunnison Basin areas are good. However, the winter kill put a bad toll on all those units this past year. As a nonresident most of those units runs around 5-6 points for 3rd seasons.
