Hunting info on the fifty mile mountain in Utah or any advice how to hunt it.

used to hunt it alot. I haven't for over 10 years. went back this year on the muzzle hunt and rifle hunt.. no deer left.. too many hunters there now.. unbelievable

Seven of us were in there this year (and last). Its tough, if we get a chance at one decent buck we feel real lucky. We see very few deer, mtn lion tracks everywhere. Its a real challenge! Nice scenery. The herds need some help and time.

I "DISCOVERED" the fifty mile mountain quite a few years ago, when nobody hunted there. Word got out, and now it seems like everone that hunts there is from Salt Lake City. Nobody ever finds any deer out there anymore. It's great country, and it really interests me because it is so remote, but the deer are literally non-existent.
