would it be a good idea to walk rhe hills. i found a big track by a little water trouph that come of the hills but never seen the deer yet. dont have no trail cam yet.

A big track by a little water trough is better than a little track by a big water trough. Yes, check for does.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-16-08 AT 10:41PM (MST)[p]isayNUNYA, You lost me on that one. What does the size of the water trough have to do with it? All I can say is that if the trough was half empty, a bigger buck could still drink out of it. So, I'd stick with the big trough!

The question you need to answer is whether the trough is half empty or half full.

If 50% of the group is aware of facetiousness, what percentage of the group does not know the definition of facetiousness?

If you are talking about desert muleys in arizona, they only exist down low in the rolling hills, so I guess that is where you have to look. Go high and you will see little deer that look like a cross between a greyhound and a whitetail deer and someone had the audacity to name them coues.

Have you looked in the Black hills? I see does frequently on the way to work.
I live in Safford too.
Are you bowhunting?

So, if i'm walking in the rolling hills, with a big watering trough thats full of water in the rolling hills, with a big track by the big full watering trough in the rolling hills, i should find a big deer by the big watering trough thats full in the rolling hills im walking thru, is that correct??

If a large buck leaving small tracks is walking through the woods, past a small half full tank in the rolling hills with no does and he breaks a twig does it make a sound?
