Crossbreed?

A buck i shot in 06' just wondering ppl think it is a crossbreed? It has a whitetail like frame

I probably wouldn't think anything of it if it wasn't for the huge G1's. Pretty unique buck...congrats!

It does look like the times all come off of the main beam as the whitetails do. Although the times fork....at lease the G-2's do like a muley. Hard to say but I would guess there may be some crossbreading in there somewhere.

Was it taken in an area that has both muleys and whiteys?

What state did you get him in? Imo, he is all muley. Did he have any other whitetail characteristics? Kinda looks like a desert muley. Cool buck either way.

I took him in Montana, there are where more whitetails in this region then mulies.

Have killed a few blacktails in northern oregon that will grow antlers that look like a whitetail and you can see one in the same area that will fork like they should. seems like the deer that spend most of their life in the thick brush will grow their antlers foreward like a whitetail for some reason.
