STATES W/REDUCED $ YOUTH DEER/ELK TAGS

I am gathering info on states that have special youth tags available. Either a special youth draw or reduced cost for tags.
I know CO and WY have lower youth priced tags and NM has youth only tags but at regular price. If your state has youth draws or reduced cost please post it. I am planning for my son who will be 13 this year. We went to WY for a lope last year looking for opps for elk and muleys.

Arizona has youth hunts for most all species

Youth in idaho can hunt for next to nothing. New mexico offers the best quality youth only hunts in my opinion.

New Mexico does not have reduced license fees for youth but does have some AWESOME youth hunts where non-residents have a great advantage.

Should a non-resident youth not draw in the regular draw they get a second chance for "Youth Encouragement ELK Hunts". The rule book says to contact the department via website Oct 1 to register for buying a tag. 1st come 1st serve. There are cow hunts and 5 either sex hunts. Not sure if they follow the quota but if they do, there will be some decent ES hunts to choose from.

Texas has some of the Best..Low cost..Public Land..
youth hunts..PERIOD.

Desert Muley's....yep...kid's only.

Whitetails....yep....kid's only.

Javy's....yep....kid's only.

Feral Hog's...yep....kid's only.

Spring turkey....yep....kid's only.

I'd be more than happy to talk to anyone
that has a youngster that they might be
interested in apply'n.

Great help guys, hard enough to keep track of all the different dates/seasons for us old guys let alone the kids, this helped alot for sure.
