Northern Utah Bucks

Nice pics WC! My family hunts Northern Utah as well. We've managed to take a few decent ones over the years as well. I doubt my family is as die hard as yours though (wish they were!). PM me sometime, and thanks for sharing!

LAST EDITED ON Feb-18-09 AT 04:27PM (MST)[p]Very nice! If you are killing bucks like that on the Cache you are doing something right. I lived in Logan for 6 years and scouted and hunted the Cache hard while I was there. I can really appreciate what it takes to kill bucks like that up there. There are some monsters out there, but you have to put in some serious time and effort in the right areas to have consistent success on mature bucks.

When I was first at USU, Cory Palmer gave me some tips and advice as to areas to look in and how to hunt the Cache. I really appreciated it, what a nice guy. My biggest regret was that in the fall of 2004 I shot a little 2 point right as we got pounded with the storm of all storms that pushed all kinds of big deer down to the winter range. What was I thinking?! That was the year to get a big one!

I live in Northeastern Utah now, but I still have a special place in my heart for the Cache.

Nice going it truley looks like your family has been blessed with exceptional public land muledeer. only Hunt-Rez would have killed bigger bucks but he gets to do it at night on the Rez.

Archery is a year round commitment!!

Hell!!!
You guys really know how to avoid the pumpkins, or use them to your advantage. That's a great accomplishment to take that many mature bucks on public land in Northern Utah.
Congrats to your fam
