I am the original poster of this topic. I implicated that shane youd was the guilty party in this... He is completely innocent. I recieved bad information, and opened my big dumbass mouth before I should have. I have spoken with Shane, and worked this out..I owe Shane a public apology. I am sorry.. I need to keep my mouth shut,and I have learned that lesson the hard way...Again Shane did not do this, and was never being investigated for this..Shanes a stand up guy...Crucify me for being an idiot...
 
Nice job mahew...takes a big man to apologize. I wasn't sure from the limited experience I had with you in the thread that you'd be able to come on and do it, but I was proven wrong. Kudos to you.
 
It's good of a you to apologize to him. You're OK. Most of us have said things we wish we could take back.

I don't know Shane, but it sounds like he has had some trouble with game officers, and hopefully he cleans up his act.

I have no problem with people sharing information about poachers on this site. Heck, maybe it will in some way help stop some of it.
BUT, EVERYONE needs to be careful as to not accuse someone unless they're is ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT. It could really hurt a persons reputation and get the person who says it into some possible legal trouble.

Anyway, I hope Shane is good with the apology.

In the future, everyone is welcome to post information about poachers and poaching cases, but only what can be verified.

Hey it takes more nuts to apologize than to post his name originally. Sounds like both of you worked it out and everything's cool. Way to go.
 
Dude you must REALLY REALLY be glad that founder deleted the original post cause it wasnt just the fact that you accused him falsely, it was all the other stuff that was said to backinthegame as well. LOL You really was looking like a jack@ss.


But Kudos for maning up.

And dont let this stop ya from letting us know of other poachers in the future. (just make sure of it first);-)

It's just a sign of the times... "False Accusers" is a recurring revelation in the Bible right alongside "wars and rumors of wars..."

And everyone giving props and kudos for apologizing publicly, give me a break!!! Do we really need to baby this guy so much??? Give him a trophy if you want to, but he did a stupid thing and got burned, he's the one we should be stringing up now...

At least I won't be reading any more of his posts...

The man quotes the bible on one hand and instead of "forgiving" .....as the bible says, he wants to get a rope.

I posted this on the other Vernon poacher site and maybe the person that originated the post got some facts wrong but the fact still remains that he is not innocent on all fronts. Perhaps it is not correct that Shane was brought into the Vernon allegations however I think that he is wrong to come on and say that he did what he did and that he learned his lesson since recently Mr. Youd pled no contest to a new case of Wanton Destruction of Protected Wildlife a Class A misdemeanor and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor a Class B misdemeanor. His sentencing is set for May 2oth in Court room 201 in Provo, Utah. The offense took place on 01/10/2009 which is after the earlier case that is shown in the link above. Anyone can find this information from the Court since it is now public record. What happens in court does not stay in court. It will be interesting to see if he gets what he has coming on the new case. I think I will go to the sentencing and see how it comes out.
 
Since you know so much, and have all these court papers, Why dont you look into it? The same thing I said in the last one, I did learn my lesson. I did not shoot a dear or poach a deer on this last case. I know personally the person that did. Just show up to the court hearing and see for yourself.
 
I did look into it. I am not saying you are the one that is guilty of the Vernon poaching but can you explain the new case for you involving Wanton Waste etc of protected and for Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, cause if it is not you then there are two of you out there with the same name. I guess I will see you in Court on 05/20 for your sentencing.
 
This post is not meant to bring anymore problems up for mr. youd. This post is about an apology from me to him...Leave it at that....

Hey elkpoacher95 I mean elkhtr95. May 20 has come and gone. So what kind of sentence did you get for poaching and contributing to the delinquency of a minor?
 
That doesn't show much...just his charges right? How much time will he do? I see his bail was $0.00. What gives?

Since it was his sentencing hearing, there is a strong possibility that he is not responding because he was remanded into custody. Like monopoly, Judges do not let you Pass Go and Collect Two Hundred Dollars when you draw the Go to Jail Card.
