Mine too got a hit for $573.00 WTF. I am sure after talking to the DWR that the nice lady said they would be glad to give it to me and I only had 0 points. I must be one lucky f'er.

Colorado charges the full price of the tag up front just to apply, so they would have already charged his card weeks ago.

Ya, no crap. Not to mention the guys who shoot the elk with thier wifes' tag and she is scrapbooking at home while they are on out in the hills. I know for a fact this happens more than most us would like to know.
