west vernon unit deer tag

My buddy just drew a nr buck tag for the West Vernon unit.If anyone has info about this zone we sure could use some help. He's only passed through the unit. My friend is 73 years old, but can still walk pretty good for his age. Are their any good bucks in this unit? Any info would be helpful, thanks, Doug.

WE guide out there every year and my brother acutally drew a vernon archery tag this year up at the huntin expo. we kill a couple good bucks out there each year. in 06 we killed a "236" 9x7 then a few good ones in 07 last year we killed a 195 typical along with a couple other good bucks. it just takes time, scouting is the key.
