Hey guys, I wondering if any of you have any experiences hunting on the Deep Creeks. I hear there are a lot of people and mountain lions. I have hunted there before but it was many many years ago and have heard the people and mountain lions have made it a tough hunt now days.

Watch out for the over zelous BLM guys out there, they have no problem drawing a weapon on you if your out there during the hunt and parked 15ft off the 4wheeler trails so others can go by!
And they will give you a ticket for it!!! My bro and his father-in-law did just that, parked off the trail so it would be out of the way, ended up in Federal Court, had to pay 500 dollar fines each and by the way, were drawn on because they had rifles. (on the Deer hunt by the way) I know you might think this storys one sided but I swear it, this is how it went down, the judge had so many people in court from this BLM guy, he was starting to joke about it, nevertheless he still enforced the law.

That's to bad, I have heard that before. I was out there last summer and noticed they had put a bunch of signs one the roads about no ATV, I appreciate most BLM officers but there are defiantly some bad apples.

I wish the Officers would Patrol more during shed season out there. Freaking people driving all over hell and back. I did find a small 3 point deer shed so there is atleast one small buck out there

I agree, I am all for shed hunting but doing by foot not by driving your ATV all over the place. Have any of you run into many mountain lions out there? My family has an old friend that lives in Callao and he says the mountain lions are the biggest problem.

Thanks for the info, I don't know that it is worth the drive for the rifle hunt, I have seen nice bucks out there before but it was a while ago. Thanks for the info.
