lead ammo getting banned

I live Ca. in parts of it, they already, because of the condor. I never have seen a condor. They have no proof, if the condor would die or not. The real problem, people graduating from college anti everything we don't have a chance.

It ain't just the anti's. A number of fishing groups have been pushing for a ban on lead sinkers for years. Copper bullet technology has changed significantly over the years. If I wasn't already dialed in on Nosler Accubond's, I'd be more than willing to try their Etip copper bullets or even Barnes bullets. More manufacturers are going to add all copper bullets to their product list. If the price is even close to the same as lead and they shoot the same, it won't matter to me...

Oh, but it will matter to you......Give these groups an inch and they take a mile...

Bucksnort is right. As soon as they win this battle, its on to ban something else. The hunting community is full of people who think like triple bb. You gotta look at the big picture. They want to ban hunting and fishing period! I am not getting down on you triple, its just that I hear it all the time,"it wont effect me".

Yep, I'm pretty sure I heard some of the same guy's beating that drum 20 years ago when they started working up the ban on lead shot. No great loss there and the sky didn't fall as predicted. Hell, they even came up with non toxic shot, albeit more expensive, that has better ballistic's than lead ever did. You guy's keep up the good fight...

I wonder if the folks in Australia had your same mentality...

Shouldn't be law, but lead and lead fragments are bad for anything to eat, including people.....I use copper bullets for big game hunting by choice, just for that reason. Again, should be choice. Of course, if you have kids eating too.....Or a pregnant wife, or.....It's more than just you to consider.
