Well it looks like I got lucky and drew a tag in Idaho for unit 45-3, My wife drew a 45-1 tag a couple years ago and we had a ball chassing muleys around but that was the west side of 45 I could use some info on the east side of 45 where the muzz hunts take place.. If anyone can share some info it would be great!! THANKS

Just a few corrections!

I too drew, but I got the earlier 45-2 tag which allows the whole unit to be hunted. We'll see?

clint pm I had the last 45 rifle tag in november when could hunt all of Unit. Buddy drew early tag so we will already be over scouting it.

Thanks all

A couple questions is the east side a lot like the west side of 45? Is there more or less private on the east side? I cant afford it but what do you all think a tresspass permit would cost on 45? Any and all comments are a great help.. Even you DEERLOVER (we know who sleeping with the teacher)

The east side has more flats and sage, There are the same canyons rimrock ect... Not as many aspen's but bitterbrush patches everywhere. Alot of private on top end just like west end but there are some changes to blm that will affect access on both ends as far as vehicles go. But with your dates they will have moved in and in pre rut. will let ya know what we see on early hunt.

I will talk to ya as it get's closer but south end has some good blm access. I have some drainages for ya to hit.

Sorry I have not been over its been really crazy around here. I hope all is GREAT in your family. This was the only out of state hunt I sent off for so I was kinda shocked to see I got it. I hope it ends up being atleast half as fun as Amys 45 hunt in 2006. Please tell you'r family Hello and I will come over and see you after one of my classes I am taking to get my CDL..

Been a long time talking to you I have a freind that put in for unit 45 also that wanted to hunt with me but he ended up drawing the 1 non res Permit they gave out for 45-2.. Guess he put in for the wrong hunt number but I told him we could probably find a good Buck there in the early hunt. So if there is any info you can share it would be great as I will probably not be able to give this tag the time I should this year.. And I really want to be kinda picky even with it being a muzz tag I hope to kill a 180 to 190 gross buck..

Good luck with a 190 gross. Super tag holders are having a tough time shooting that class of buck in 45. You might be the lucky one. Ron

All I need is a DREAM and a Boat load of LUCK

Maybe I will hold out for 200"
