Well there are only three of us, Muddy Creek, R&K, & Grizzly Peek

For a rifle hunt Muddy Creek is the best in the entire state! But, we did kill just as large of bucks as they did in 08. If you have ever hunted what we call Queen mountain you would know why this area can produce some giants. In 2008, we were chasing a typical that would have conservatively netted over 200" A lot of the mule deer from my ranch will end up on Muddy Creek during the rifle season due to the timing of the landowners sheep grazing. but 09' will be different. On a side note, good luck ever getting to hunt on Wendell's place AKA Muddy Creek. Now, if you're an archery mule deer hunter, my ranch can be the best place to hunt period, and new for 09' we have just constructed a new 8,000+ square ft. lodge that is second to none. Great for guys who want to bring their wives along. http://www.queenmtn.com/.. Infact, I challenge you to find any place better in Wyoming. Bullmania, I hope you not looking for a guide this late in the game.. Good luck and happy hunting this season!

LAST EDITED ON Jul-05-09 AT 02:46AM (MST)[p]I'm gonna offend someone or hurt someone's feelings but here goes.

You drew a Region "K" tag and you are gonna get a guide??????

WTF??

You want me to carry you on my 49 year old back to your buck??????

Steady your rifle for you?????

Maybe I'm old fashioned but can't a guy
draw a tag, research an area, hunt his arse off and maybe eat tag soup if he doesn't he what he wants????????

HEY GUYS, WHOOSE THE BEST GUIDE SO I CAN SHOOT A BIG-UN???????

easy there CES. There are areas in K that you can't hunt without a guide. Namely the private ranches. Nothing wrong with drawing that tag and going guided. Especially when you live on the other side of the country and have drawn multiple tags.

I believe you were on here asking for help in this area as well weren't you? Maybe that was another Cali elk guy. If you're hunting K this fall maybe we'll see you on the mountain. Then again, maybe not.:D

It's always an adventure!!!

I think someone stayed up too late watching fireworks.

If I wanted a chance at a monster mule deer in region K it sure would not be on public land.

I love DIY, but if I had the money I would book a hunt in that area in a heart beat.

I see no fault in wanting a guide Especially Reg K!!! There might be a lot of deer there but there is a lot more people out there on the public land shooting 2 points then 4 points. If someone wants to get on good property and see some nice deer then private is the way to go and most private is guided.. DO not be a jerk and put someone down for hunting the way they want too....

Eastmans hunt with muddy crk, just had a show on the sportsmans station the other day, a monster killed every year...wonder what they charge$
