Idaho Unit 42

Me and my buddy beat the odds & drew Idaho unit 42 tags for Nov 1-24. We will do our home work and scout the unit, I was just wondering if anyone has hunted there and would like to share some pictures of some of the bucks that have come out of unit 42.

42 is a good unit with some nice bucks. The dates moving up to the 1st from the 10th will be a great benefit for the hunters. Most of those deer migrate start migrating down into Nevada/Oregon the first few days of November.

Sounds good, we hope to see some real hogs. Do you know if bucks move into the area later in November?

I'm sure there are some bucks still in there later in November, but most of them head south into Nevada and the 40 bucks bail off into Oregon. I'd hunt hard the first few days of the hunt and get the big boys before they leave the unit. I always debated on hunting 42 with the later dates Nov 10-24 and decided the bigger bucks would probably be out of the unit by then. With the dates moved earlier, I would love a tag one of these years.
