deer - open with draws I can sneek up and down catching them in.

Elk - steepest, thickest nasty terrain that any normal guy would say is insane to go into or up in.

I love Quakie trees especially when the leaves are in full color in the fall before they drop somethings almost magical being in a mountain covered in quake and aspen trees I love it all I also like around timber line when you start seeing just little patches of of pines togather and open meadows and parks. Really I love it all cedars, sage, oak, flat, nasty steep, bare ground whatever its all just good. Especially when your hunting. That Smell or taste Thats in the air when fall first gets here I love that chill kinda air thats out.

High Country!!! I love it

Definately no wrong answer on this question. I grew up hunting muleys in the low deserts of Southern Utah. We'd find 'em in scrub oak, sage flats, cedar flats, juniper patches....as long as there was water, there were deer. Now I have transplanted up here to the northern part of Utah and I am hunting as high as I can get into the country goats love. I love that type of hunting. And despite how much I love strapping all my gear on my backpack and hauling everything under the sun up the mountain.....the thought of a low-land flat hunt is really enticing!!!!!!!!!

Badlands and brush or above timberline. As I get older, those 12,000 to 14,000 foot peaks seem higher and steeper so I go more for the brush country. Just a note - I HATE trees. We need more beneficial fires and management to cut out some of the P-J and ponderosa country. The trees have become way too common in the past 100 years.
