Guess The Score 2!!!

...here's another. A buck my brother killed in 2007.

We measured him up the day after he was killed once we got him off the mountain, so I've got the gross score.

Give it a shot!

Can't really tell how wide he is, but im taking a guess at 142 3/8

I think he is bigger than 140ish. None of his beams are exceptional, however, none of them are short either. Decent mass, I'd put him around 161.

I agree, he's a low 160's class buck. Looks like you shot him way up high. You must have worked for that one. Congrats.

I am thinking 14-150 is low also. I got 166-168.

The day after he was killed we measured him at 162 0/8".

Unfortunately we'd misjudged him on the hill...not that he's a bad deer, but were looking for something a little better. Small head and small ears had us screwed up.

I had him at 164 too. I was also over by 2"

I've shot several deer with small heads and small ears. I laugh when people say you can count on a muley's ears being 24 inches! I've shot some that were that big and actually 1 that had 25 inch ears. I have also been the victim of horrible ground shrinkage on bucks with small heads and ears only measuring 18-20 inches.

I've shot many a 160 inch buck that I swore would be in the 170-175 range on the hoof. Thus my guess of 161.
