>Is the webbing horn or is
>it just felvet?? I love
>that.

I think its FELVET???

The webbing is mostley velvet.
I did not shoot the buck.
However I did see the buck this summer and take a few pictures of him.
The buck was watched most of the summer, but took a few days to get him once the hunt started.
I do not think the background needed blacked out.
But to respect the hunter, I did.
The buck was shot in Utah with general archary tag, however it was on private ground.
The velvet was going to be striped, then it will be interesting to see what the antlers look like without velvet.
I posted the pictures, cause I thought you may enjoy seeing this great buck as I did.

why one earth would you strip off that perfect velvet???????????

i have seen pics of him before

cool buck though KEEP THE FELVET ON HIM!

the buck looks awesume - leaving the velvet on is actually a tedious process - takes time and involves injecting chemicals - embalming fluids in the veins of the velvet -while hanging upside down and cutting small holes in each tip so the liquid forces out the bolood and is repalce with the formaldihide (sp) or a similar product- i agree the velvet on any animal in its prime is nice - some fake velvet works - here agin the taxi needs to take the time to do a good job and make it look as real as posible ! MM

takes only a few minutes and well worth it,
you should mount it as it was, or not at all.
just my opinion though
