Sweet bucks! And off the Books is quite a treat... I've only seen a few deer of that caliber out there... Thanks for sharing...

I actually talked to Shawn about this hunt and he said he shot this deer at 12'. He can get it done at long or close range. Congrats to Shawn and Anthony on two awesome bucks with a lot of character. I know they put in a lot of miles scouting to make it possible to kill bucks of that quality down there.

Both great bucks, but man the double droppers are sweet. I shot at one with little droppers once in the trees but he got away. Great job guys!

sweat guys had that tag last year and seen a double dropper like that but he was around 30 wide and was just starting to his fronts and backs his dropers were only about 3" at that time i dont think its the same buck but great job

Great bucks and it sounded like they saw a couple bigger.

How long did he look for the first buck he hit before shooting the double drop tine? It sounded like only a few hours in the morning after they lost blood?

Asuming you were there is this true or are you tryin to start some trash talkin.

+1 wacmaster

Somebody is always trying to start something up. Great bucks!

That's awesome. Congrats to Anthony and Shawn; inspiring.

"Hunt hard or go home!"

You know whats funny i actually shot at that double droptine buck the second day of the hunt, but unfortunately i hit a branch. He is an awsome buck good job. But if there is any way that i could get ahold of the guy that shot him i would like to talk to him about it. my email is [email protected]

Some great bucks that drop tine is sweet! definitely some of the better ones i've seen come out of the cliffs

hay guys I have pics of the cheater buck alive if you would like to have them. my wife and I took them a week before the hunt started those are some sweet bucks congrats to the both of you. you will have to check out the buck I got out there on the opener. it is posted under archery and titled Tripod! By the way love your videos. cant wait to watch the hunts to these two bucks.

I definitely was not there and I was not trying to stir things up, I was just curious. I listened to the recap of the hunt that was posted with the original pictures in the first post and they talked about hitting a bigger buck and tracking that buck and it got dark and then coming back in the AM to look for it...and then shot this buck at 9 AM and it sounded like the same morning from the audio clip.

I was just curious and I know it is a tough call when you don't think the buck you hit was mortally wounded and you have a tag in your pocket and you see another buck...

If you listen to the clip, you will better understand my question.

Both bucks are dandys, congrates to the hunters..

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed taters and gravy.
