Here's my Utah buck I took this morning. Thanks to my good friend Matt Bateman for all of his help. This buck is not the bruiser I've been hoping to slip an arrow into, but he's a fun buck. After setting up in an ambush location in a high mountain pass, he came right to me. I originally wasnt going to shoot, but with my two buddies watching the whole scenario through thier spotting scopes and with the buck coming from 300 yards away to less than twenty, I decided to give my buddies a show. The shot was 18 yards and the buck was down in less than 100 yards.

great buck! thanks for sharing. i would love to arrow a buck like that in Idaho.

Yeah man, your last deer could swallow that one whole! LOL He's a sweet deer and you always make it happen up there. Thanks for weeding out the 3X4 genes off the Front!

Kip!!!! Way to go man that is a good lookin buck, he'll look great with your impressive group of bruisers, sounds like it was a fun hard hunt....that makes The Fowler boys 3 and the muley bucks 3 short!!! way to go Kipper

Kip congrats on yet another nice mule deer with a bow. I know the feeling of excitement when you have a crowd and you see the buck coming from a long ways off. That is exactly what happened to me last year in Nevada. Any buck off of the Front is a hard earned trophy and although he is not your biggest (he probably ranks 9th or 10th in your trophy room!!!) he is still a very nice deer with a bow and I know you definetly earned him. I think this is a tough year for archers. We have had such hot weather and bad moon phases and I have not heard or seen a ton of sucess yet. I saw a picture of that stud you have been after and that thing is awesome. I wish you could have got an arrow in that deer. Have you seen him as of late? Hopefully he makes it to next year and you can get back on him then. Anyways Congrats again on another fine deer with a bow.

P.S. If you decide to burn your antelope points in Colorado next year I found a sweet water hole. It took two days to learn the area and to find the water but when I did I had lots of goats coming in to drink and some sweet video footage. I haven't got one yet but hopefully I will. I am trying to better my best with a bow which was 74 1/2". There are some good ones out there. I am going back out this friday and saturday.

Great buck Kip! Congrats! Man, you know how to get the job done time and time and time again. Very impressive.

I would cry about that one too Kip;). You just keep hanging on the wall. Way to go. At least there is always next year to look forward to.

I know first hand how tough it can be to put one down in the area you're hunting in... Strong work and congrats on a great bow Muley bro!!!

Utah better do something about your hunting party... Dang, you guys are knocking off the deer herd each year!

Congratulations.

Great buck, Kip. In my books, you are definitely in the top 7 best mule deer archery hunters in the state. Great pics to.

I would have to agree Kip, Top 5 for you. It is time to come back home and teach your friends down here in So. Utah how to get the job done. Either that or I am comming up there and hunting with you, which ever you prefer.

Congrats on the great buck Kip.
