i usually hunt muleys during the utah general rifle, but this year i am going to be hunting a few weeks earlier. on the later hunt snow will usually help get them moving. we will be hunting 8000-9000 ft. so gentlemen what are their patterns like during the muzzy hunt etc.? and good luck to everyone on their hunts

From what I've learned here in Nevada mulies goe through a drastic change in the month of November. They scrape off the velvet and start hangin' out in the trees more than they did in the summer. You can still find them in bachelor groups but some of them have already turned into lone solitary creatures. Some of them start acting more wary and cautious and seem to be harder to find as compared to the summer months. So if you are used to hunting them a couple of weeks later then you are used to bucks that are more solitary creatures. The difference is that when it is this early in the season you will probably have to depend on early morning and evening spotting and searching for them in thier beds the rest of the day. Good luck. fatrooster.
