300 RUM Ballistics???

I shoot a 300 Ultra Mag and we reload a cartridge very similer to their 180 gr Scirrocos PLII Where can I find or how can I calculate the drop, energy, velocity etc. I have a cut chart out to 500 yds from the remington.com ballistics site but I would like the information out to 1000 yards?

Any help is appreciated!

You will need the Ballistic Coefficientcy of your bullet, bullet weight, diameter, muzzle velocity, etc. etc. Altitude, temps do play a factor at long distances, so average them out.

For about 30 bucks, you can buy Sierra Infinity, and have it at your fingertips installed on your computer. I have checked the program against real-world shooting, and it is very, very accurate. mtmuley

The bullet will actually start to rise due to the curvature of the earth.......the scope is the limiting factor.

Pointblank.com used to have free ballistics software you can download. I use it all the time. Post up on longrangehunting.com. Some of those guys can point you in the right direction...
