Hey guys,

I think many will appreciate this clip. It's a "How To" clip on caping and quartering a deer. In addition to posting the clip here in the forums, I will also place a link in a couple other areas of the site. I think it will come in handy for a few folks.
Here is the clip:

PS - I have created a new category at MonsterHuntClips.com called "How To's". I believe we should soon have a few other caping, skinning, gutting, and boning clips on there. Please though, share your "How To" clips guys. I'd like to see some bugling tips, cow calling tips, glassing tips, etc. Anything to do with hunting.
I know there are a number of you outfitters who know what you're doing. Put it on tape, put a plug in the clip for your outfit, and share it with us all.

Very, very well done.

In addition to the caping instructions, that tarp idea is excellent. 'Rutnbuck' suggested this idea to me on my Bison hunt. Great idea.... Looking forward to more of these clips.

Someone made the tarp suggestion to me before our elk hunt last year. That tarp is well worth the weight in the pack.

Thanks for the video and the idea of the "How to" section, that will be great to have.

Thanks Brian

Very good! I like to use a bed sheet instead of the tarp because you can wash and reuse it more eaily.

Nice job! Do you have a video on completely removing the cape from the skull?

Thanks,

Kevin

I always learn a little bit from others. Remember to keep the "oysters" attached to one of the quarters.

To go really lite and cheap, I use an emergency poncho as a tarp. You only get one use, but a dollar well spent.
