I will be doing a little bowhunting in ziebach county this fall on some private ground. I have never been there so I am not sure what I will find. If the hunting is not any good I am looking for some decent public land I could try for a backup. I am looking more for opportunity type land for I am taking a young man who has never hunted the west before and would like his first time to be a blast. There is some decent public lands in NW SD to archery hunt muleys. Look into Harding and Perkins county. They have a mix of Forest Service land and big walk in ares. You should be able to find somee nice mulies on them.
