2009 Rifle deer.

This was by far the funnest hunt I have ever been on. I was able to kill this buck with my 10 year old son, and best friend right by my side, and my Dad and brother sitting back about 1000yds watching through a spotting scope. We snuck across an open sage brush flat, and ranged him right at 400yds, and knew I could make that shot because of lots of practice this summer. I sat down and got comfortable, and as soon as he turned enough I let him have it. He dropped right in his tracks, and made one attempt to get back up but couldn't. The three bucks that were with him took off like lightning. The coolest part was having everybody there to see it. He is right at 26.5" wide, and rough taped just over 160". I will never forget this hunt, and I know my son wont either.

way to be a great DAD! who cares about your buck { ALTHOUGH IT IS A DANDY} but it is awsome to see you take your kid with you. heck ya that is a trophy, a nice buck and your own kid to watch it happen! great job
