Way to go Garret. My wife and I were walking down the bike trail North of St. George when you drove by. My wife almost choked when she saw that buck in the back of your truck. She said it looked like it was still in velvet, but I didn't believe her. I'll bet there wasn't an ounce of fat on that buck. Stags are usually very big boned, but very lean, and they almost always have a dark face. Knowing what a great hunter you are, I was wondering when you would get around to dropping a big one for yourself. Thanks a bunch for all your help on that muzzle loader hunt a few years ago. If it wasn't for you and Larry, I probably would have died.
