I've got a late hunt at the book cliffs and was just wondering where the big bucks come down after the pressure is off and maybe a few winter storms? anything would help being that i was unable to make scouting trips due to my disability. thanks

I sent you a PM.

What is your disability if you dont mind me asking?

thanks for the info. i am a c-6,c-7 quadrapalegic which means no muscle use from the chest down and little movement in my hands. this made it a bit hard to put in the proper scouting time but i heard that the book cliffs were pretty accesible to a razor so i hope it works out.

alot of the areas I told you about are very accesible to a razor, you should have a fun hunt. When are you headed out there.

Well my man it looks like you are going to have an awesome hunt, the books got dumped on today with snow and thats only going to make your hunt great.

Good luck, and if you have any more questions just ask I would be glad to help you out.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-29-09 AT 09:03AM (MST)[p]Call the DWR-Biologist for the area. They will have any info you need. But as for bigger and wider bucks, look at the South End of the unit. I hunted the Northern side the first weekend of the rifle this year and only saw 18" to around 24" bucks. I hit the Southern Side and took a decent 27" buck on Sat. My son had a Northern Utah Tag so I had to settle on him. Good luck on what you decide to do.

i would be happy to go out with you and show you what i know and i bet we could talk jake into going for a ride with us.
