Can't help you a lot, but last year I looked in to it and called the local biologist and he was very helpful. There are a few walk in areas, but he gave me a few names of private landowners that would allow hunting. I ended up talking to three of them, some wanted a fairly reasonable fee, others were free. All of them wanted to get the landowner coupon if I harvested. You can get the biologist # from the chamber of commerce website. Also, last year you could buy over the counter doe tags. The landowners wanted me to take a couple. I didn't, but if you want some more meat you may want to look in to it. The biologist said they needed to get rid of as many as they could.
