Think I finally figured the picture posting out

Hi, I shot this buck last week in KS with my bow. Its my first Mule deer with a bow. I was actually sitting in a tree, I had seen a few pretty good whitetails and then this mule deer came by at 17 yards. He had his left side towards me and I saw the height off the head, decent fork, good front and decided I had to shoot him. He ran towards the road after the shot and dropped 30 yards from me. I didn't notice the shorter right side but not a first bow mule deer that I could pass up.

Tree? I don't see any tree's :) Congrats on a nice muley. I hunt Eastern CO. from tree stands and have always wanted to take a muley from a tree, but have never had the opportunity. Way to go!

Glad you Didn't pass him up, your dreams would of bothered you for sometime. LOL
Maybe next year you will get one of those Whitey's.

I live north of there in the town of Norton. There is some great mule deer hunting down that way, for sure.
