he was thirsty! it was a 7 day late hunt up north idaho. its where we archery hunt. this year they took that hunt away but we saw over 200 elk. only got one shot off

Well he was a baby! he eats great! he shouldnt of ran from me then i wouldnt of went down one hill and up the next to get closer. If he would of just stood still i would of wasted all my shells on him and he would of been fine.we thought he was 800 yards but he was only bout 600 we ranged it this year it was more clear
