Have any of you ever heard of Chad Marshal from Reserve NM? He has a hunt posted on another site for 1500. It's a 7 day archery hunt on the Membrus (Spelling) River and on 2000+ acres in Unit 24 for the January 1-15 hunt. He said he has guided for Mick Chappell most of the time but is now going out on his own and had to lease this property this year to guarantee it for next. Said there are about 30% Coues/ 70% muley on the property and that a landowner tag is included, you just have to buy the tag from the state.
I am familiar with Chappell and was just looking for any input as I think I'm going to do the hunt, I just wish we didn't have to specify specie of deer when you buy the tag. My last trip to NM I had a mule tag and saw two crusher Coues within 40 yards. Thanks for any input or suggestions.
