Here is a picture of my 2009 Utah buck. Not my biggest for sure but probably the biggest bodied deer that I have ever killed. It scores 170 and some change even being a 3x4 without a mass measurement and without a g3 measurement on its right side. It seems as if a lot of the deer in the area that I hunt have the "management" buck genetics. I saw quite a few mature deer that were big 2x2's, 3x3's, and 4x3's.

Happy hunting!

pugs, love the frame on your buck. I'll bet he looked good in your scope!!!

I think that yo do get a mass measurement on that right G-2. If i'm not mistaken, you measure it half way up the point. My understanding is only recent but it was that all 3X3's and 4X3's have 4 mass measurements.

I sure could be wrong on this and someone please correct me if so!

Great buck and a shooter in my book!!!

Great buck buddy, you do get a mass measurement on his G-2 like Sage said, Measure the length of the G-2 and divide it in half and take the measurement there.

So it a buck had a 16" G-2 you would measure up 8"s and take it there.

Thanks for the info guys. Troy, you really think that my buck is the same buck you and your dad saw? Demar said that it wasnt but I did not think that he saw the buck you were after.

Yes you are correct liecabucks I should be out chasin cats but you know how it is, off to work for one more day and then off for four days chasin. Got to let the hounds and myself heal up for a day or two before we start the process over again.

Is that a Vernon buck? I missed one during archery looks just like its twin> I have some cool video of him with eight other bucks....

No, this dear was killed in the north west end of the state.
