Application for PPoints

I'd like to apply for PPoints for mule deer.
could you guys help me to choose the right state?
Which state do you think is the best for mule deer?
I would like to draw a tag in two or three years.

I had 12 points in Nevada this year when I drew for deer, 9 when I drew for elk and 7 when I drew for Antelope. I have 12 points in Arizona, 7 in Utah, 4 in California, 4 in Oregon. You might draw in Idaho, no points required there or in Wyoming or Montana. Even Colorado has gotten tougher but there maybe a chance there. Best state for me - Nevada but Utah, Arizona and Colorado are all good. Not sure what's going on in NM these days?

If you are looking for a license in 2-3 years, I'd focus on Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. Of those three, Colorado has the best deer hunting, but you won't get to the best units in 2-3 years. But you can go on a decent hunt in that much time. It will help your odds if you use a bow or muzzleloader in Colorado.
