As I have explained I have a long wait to upload pics to post them on this site. Is it possible to have me e-mail pics to someone who has better computer service and better computer skills?? The reason I ask is that today it was - 27 degrees here and I spent some time reading how to use the camera better as well as following fat rooster's advise and reading about digiscoping- up till now it's been--- hey let's see what happens when I do this! Some of those results have been somewhat unimpressive.

Well it all came together today when it got all the way up to 0 and I was being driven nuts by the hyper active dogs, so off we went. After one hike they were tired and cold so I went on a 2nd and left them behind in the truck.
I got within 100 yards of this buck and my new knowledge combined with good background and lighting got me some "wow" pics
Anyway that leads me to ask for some assistance to post them up here as it would take me literally all day to put them here to be viewed.

Here's a couple done the old way to show what I found.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-08-10 AT 10:06PM (MST)[p]Squirrel, your right, those definitely are some wow pictures. Some great bucks. What state are you in? I'd be glad to help you walk your dogs if I get to see bucks like that! fatrooster.

Hey man, I sent you a PM, and would be willing to help you with anything!

Those are awesome G'2's on that buck. Does this year seem like a better than average horn crop? Do you normally see bucks of that caliber? Thanks for learning about that camera, you're posting up some great pics.

Pm rec'd and appreciated antlerglazed. And yes Zekers he's got some pretty good height I'm guessing 20". Good everything really around here we have weak main beam/front fork genetics but not in this case.
I only got a couple shots of him from 100 yards as the wind swirled and they got wary but not really spooked. As he spooked he moved into the sun for a bad camera angle but the shots were still ok.
In real life it was quite a rush with the -10 temps every breath was a steam cloud. One picture was 1 second too late to get him in full flehman pose after sniffing a does butt (timed release) His lip curl is just barely still visible in the pic.
A real warming trend today at only -22 right now so maybe I can do a little more knowledge acquisition today on this computer thing.
I really liked the 8x8 better and would love to use what I learned yesterday to get some pics of him, maybe with this buck?? Any motivation is good motivation when it's this cold!

Squirrel, just a heads up, some cameras will be damaged in extreme cold weather. You might ask some of the guys in the photography forum that know more than I do. I had a camcorder screw up and found out later that the cold temps were probably the cause. fatrooster.
