Buck track question

I am making a stencil of some buck tracks to paint on some concrete. I want to make them as accurate as possible. Do the front tracks look much different than the rear? Are the rear the only ones that leave a dewclaw print? Also what would a big buck track measure? Not a freak huge track just a nice mature buck. Thanks in advance for your help.

Don't take this as fact but it seems like the front hooves are bigger than the back. Also most of the bigger tracks I've seen have the dew(sp?) claws on the front with the front of the hoof seperated, especially if they are running. Good luck!

Swingbow,
The front hooves have the dew claws and are larger in size than back hooves. PM me with the details of your deer hunt. I would like to hear about it.

yeah just drive down the highway find a deer hit my a car and use those cant get any more real than that.

Do a google image search for deer track. Find one that you like and print it off.
