I harvested this buck in Gem County Idaho 2008, First buck with a bow, Gross score 155 2/8, Final score 148 3/8

Good gravy that second pic is gross! Cool but gross! LOL! Were you aiming right for his eye - great shot. Distance?

How do you think he lost that notch out of his ear? The mount looks great.

What's the story on the other deer? Looks like he was taken some while ago.

Funny story about that, the wind was blowing real bad so i held on the head thinking it would blow my arrow back towards the vitals (bad idea) when i shot about 35 yards the arrow hit exactly where i was aiming no wind drift (now i know) the buck fliped over then regained his feet i then chaced him down and cut him off and got a perfect vital shot at about 15 yards.
 
As for the notch i would guess a fence maybe? just a farm ground muley. The other buck was taken by my dad about 25-30 years ago its left antler has some real odd groth kind neet
