P.I.W. tag, had a guide. Friends hunted the same buck with a P.I.W. tag. Hunted this deer with a bow , and then with a muzzeloader. They couldn't connect, because the buck ended up in the residential section. It sure is a giant buck, guess there where a few more big boys in this zone too. Thanks, Brownie.

Whats a P.I.W tag?

Partnership in wildlife tag.If you do not draw in the original draw you can donate to the state and be entered into the P.I.W draw .If you get one of these tags you can hunt the species you applied for on any open hunt in any open unit .Basically you get to hunt anywhere in the state with Archery ,Muzzleloader or Rifle ,As long as the season is open .Recently crossbows were included in the "Any legal weapon hunt".Next best thing to an Auction Tag .
