I haven't seen anyone post whether they drew out in the Dedicated hunter draw or not. My Dad and I drew, not sure how bad I want it it yet. Did they even fill back up to the 10,000 cap?

My brother and I both drew. They had 1600 tags leftover that they WILL NOT be selling otc.

NO GUTS, NO STORY!!

Seems ludicrous to me they won't sell leftovers otc! Wth not? They want money right so I say they should sell them.

Put in with second thoughts. Drew mine and now I need to get puttng in the 40-hours. 16 hours so I can get my deer tag this year. Stil nice to have a tag every year, but getting harder to pay the same fee, have to by a general liecence for $24-$30 and find the time to get the 40-hours in.

Thinking seriously about just trying to draw every other year in Utah and go out of state for deer or elk on the year I don;t draw here in Utah.

It will be interesting to see if they fill the max on the program this year!!!

Best of hunting to you all.

He didnt give me a reason why when I called to ask if they would be selling the remaining tags for a friend.

i hope they realize 40 hours is more than what most people think is a fair trade. if they do have 1600 tags leftover maybe they'll drop the number of hours required next year.
