Guys--

Im taking a corporate retreat group shooting and I want to know of any clever ideas of fun stuff to shoot at to show off the energy from the gun? Only 100 yds or so. Fruit?, soda cans?

take some small boxes and put a big piece of sandstone in them. When the bullet hits the rock it looks like a bomb went off, tearing the box to shreds. Milk jugs with water, oil jugs with water, EMPTY green propane bottles fly pretty far, hard enough to catch the bullet but not heavy enough to stay put. The full ones dont blow up (stupid teenager) they just hiss and fly around.... Potatoes, Tomatoes, Apples, prairie dogs. Find a few pieces of metal plate laying around and see how thick the metal has to be for the bullet not to go through.

Just use your imagination.

One word: tannerite. Do a search for it on youtube, and have fun watching the clips. It's legal and you can get it at tannerite.com.

Buy some of those exploding targets . They sell them here in Utah . Don't know where you are and if you can get them . They sell them at the cross roads of the west gun shows . I can get you the info if you need me to . I believe they are in Lehi, Utah.

A place called center street brass in provo has the star exploding targets. They are awesome!!!

Cabbage. It is supposed to be near the same size and water density as a human head and it explodes into salad when shot at about 15-20 yards. A neat demonstration for sure.
