My big 3x3 mount is done!

Thanks to our boy Packout I have one of the sweetest 3x3 mounts in existence. He did a marvelous job on this thing and really brought out it's best qualities with the taxidermy. I couldn't be happier. The deer was killed this year in the Utah's Northern Region with a general tag and green scored 176, 174 net.

I was hunting public land in the East Canyon herd unit. We packed in about 2 miles to get away from other hunters but still had competition. My scouting prompted me to check a gnarly ravine where I'd spotted bucks before, and it paid off!

And my advice for the Henrys: get off the roads and do some scouting. I hunted there a fair amount before it became LE. It isn't a big area, but there are very few roads. Get out and glass a bunch and I'm sure you'll find a good management buck.
