NEW TO HUNTING

HELLO I AM NEW TO HUNTING I HAVE BEEN INTO ARCHERY FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS ALWAYS WANTED TO GO OUT AND HUNT BUT NOT KNOWING ANYONE WHO WAS IN TO IT AS MUCH AS ME KINDA SUCKS SO ANYWAY ANY ADVICE I CAN GET WOULD BE APPRECIATED AS TO SCOUTING HOW TO LOCATE A GOOD AREA TO SCOUT HOW TO READ TOPO MAPS OR ANYONE OUT HERE LOOKING FOR A HUNTING BUDDY WOULD BE AWSOME

Can't find anyone to go with in utah? What part of the state? I or somebody closer to you would be glad to take you out and get you headed in the right direction.

just spend as much time in the mountains as possible, you will always learn something new and have a good time doing it. just remember deer and elk need water,food and shelter. they are a lot like you. if it looks like a good place to the eye then it will probably have something living in it.
