According to the info I was given, this buck was a pickup due to winter kill in 1966. Minor repairs were done to the rack which is 44" outside, 15 x 19, and 291 gross B & C.

Chairs thrown and tables toppled,
Hands armed with broken bottles,
Standing no chance to win but
We're not runnin

Guys;

Many of us Az. guys have seen that buck before, but thanks 2 dogs for reminding us that true monsters are possible.

If that buck is 44" outside, which I have no doubt , that he is, then without his 2 forked cheaters, which I figure at 6" and 4 1/2", thats a 34" + - buck mainframe. I have seen very, very few main frame 34" bucks. Couple that with the amazing number and length of his points and above average mass, that is truly a MONSTER.

With the view we all see in the picture, how would YOU really react. I don't want to here any b/s about I would just pull up and blow him away. I, and I think we all would, take at least .5 to 2 seconds to make sure we weren't dreaming, bite your lip, hard, to bring you back to your senses, and then take a 1/2 second deep breath, squeeze and make a humane kill shot, and give the true grand gentleman the death he deserves.

Oh yea, I would just take his picture, just as hard to hold a camera steady in that situation as a rifle or bow.

Beautiful, beautiful buck!!!
