Book Cliffs archery surprise

LAST EDITED ON Jul-26-10 AT 04:09PM (MST)[p]Just a couple days ago I told my hunting partner, "Hayden3006" how upset I was because I never have any luck in draws. I build points in almost every state and have the least amount of points in Utah with just 2 points. I have tried to increase my odds by putting in for a variety of hunts from popular hunts, unpopular hunts, and various weapon choices and today my luck finally changed. I received a phone call from UDOW and was told two tag holders had backed out of the Book Cliffs archery and myself and Hayden3006 were next in line. I almost fell down because I agreed to take days off to help Hayden3006 on his hunt in Colorado hunt. So when I thought my mule deer season was over with the draw I am lined up on a great hunt. I hope the two hunters who backed out of the tags drew better tags somewhere else and are okay. I would also like to say Thank You!!!

Good luck man... That'll be a super fun hunt. Last year we saw tons of good bucks, and 2 or 3 that were pushin 180". All just the weekend before the archery opener... PM me if you need a little bit of direction...
