I just added a bunch of my pics and a video clip to my Hunt Adventure Challenge thread. If YOU are not apart of our Hunt Adventure Challenge, then I'm bummed. Come on! Share your outings!!! Be a good sport.

Anyway, here is my webcast and some pics of the best buck I found on my last outing. Is he big enough? Taker or not? Am I wishful thinking, or is he a good one? Give it to me....what you think? Will he grow anymore? Good enough archery buck? Rifle??

PS - More pics in my Hunt Adventure Challenge thread

You're a freaking animal Brian. The beer's concentrated by four times so that should've helped..Just kidding!!! Nice buck, get'er done. Steve

I realize he does not have strong 2's, but seriously...? Would anyone really pass up this great buck on a general unit, and even some draw units with a bow...?? No way I would... He'd be my biggest buck, let alone with a bow.
Thanks Brian...!

Tough call, First day maybe, third day yes. Depends on the area if bigger bucks are a possibility. If the area is slaughtered every year then yes I would at first light opening morning.

Thanks for sharing Brian!

You want the straight truth here it is. He is a nice buck. There is still enough time for him to grow more yes. Archery deer maybe, for sure a rifle deer granted he does not break anything. He has two things going for him. Browtines! And he has some decen main beam length. When it comes down to it you have to ask your self what your wanted to take a mature deer if that is your goal and pretty much go from there. If you think that he is a great buck and stuff than I think you should try your best to harvest him. The saying goes and we have all heard it " The trophy is in the eye of the beholder". That is true for most of us. If you were to ask me if I would shoot him I would tell you not with a bow but he would be a last straw buck if I could not find anything bigger during the rifle season. But then again I would have to keep tabs on his growth from now till he becomes hard horned. In closing over all good deer, lacks a little in the backs but not too bad. Good luck to you.

Uhhh, 25"+- mature buck with nice fronts, great shape, decent mass, cheater, eye-guards, public land, general unit. Of course I'd kill him and so would you and 98% of the guys out there with that tag. You'd be killing that deer and he would be another mount on the wall.

Before I shoot any deer the same question runs through my mind everytime. "Am I willing to hang him on my wall." If the answer is no, then I don't shoot. For me, I would not put that buck on my wall but I probably would next year. Nice buck though, he has good potential.

No questions asked. Opening morning anybody on that mountain would feel a slight breeze cuz i just let the air out of that one.

I would have to say yes because he would be my biggest ever and my only wall hanger. It would be nice to have to question a deer like that.

Unless you are holding one of the top mule deer tags in the west, that's a great buck! take him!
