Crazy's MT ???

Heading up to the Crazy's for an archery elk hunt. Will be toting deer tags along. Anybody have any muley tips for that range? Any significant bucks come out of there (and by my standards, "BIG" for this diy hunt is anything north of 140, "HUGE" would be anything north of 160)? I'd hate to stick a really nice 3 x 3 or decent 4 if there's a relatively good chance of some fun on a bigger caliber bucks.

I elk hunt the west side and have seen several good mulies over the past ten years. I recommend that you contact the fish and game office in Bozeman and get the number for the biologist. I have spoken to him before and though I can't remember his name, he is very helpful and will give you quite a bit of information, including drainages to check out. Apparently, there are some toads and I have seen a picture of a 180 class buck that was killed last year. Also, keep in mind that the Crazies are checkerboarded with private land, even in the heart of the mountains in some places. Good Luck.
