Unreal... Seriously... How do you only get one picture of a buck that big, and that close...?? Guy probably messed himself and dropped his camera... LOL

No way!!! That's crazy. What a neat buck too. I want one like that....That's the kind of buck I dream of. To heck with big, good looking typicals!!!!!

So how does that affect the theory that, "big deer never come around people, cars and houses"....?

That is one gnarly assed ol' buck!

WoW thats the first thing that pops in my mind. Awesome buck for sure. I wonder if He will get hard antlered or if he is a stag makes a guy wonder

WOW!!! That's a monster stud. And the lump on his neck is the injection site for the steriods he's taking. :)

PHOTOSHOP...........look close at the head and the cape color and that sneer of the bucks mouth showing teeth.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-02-10 AT 11:06AM (MST)[p]No photoshop guys...this is the real thing.

Also, he does strip his velvet...he's not a stag.

To be continued...

man that thing just blows me away! talk about an awesome buck with lots of character. thanks alot for sharing!

WOW thats a crazy buck. Thanks for sharing him and keep the photos coming. Would be awesome to see some hard horns on him then score some sheds?

nice! would be nicer hanging on my wall
my gramp shot one kinda like that didnt have any testicals
he said bucks that dont have testicals never shed and never drop but they rarely live past 4 but what deer do

WOW! I'd love to have buck like that living in my neighborhood. If he sticks around till Jan, could be some easy lawn sheds eh? ;) I'd dare say that buck is higher than 275 and probably is pushing that 300 inch mark.

Holy friggin' smokes! That thing is huge! I would definitely say he'll be pushing the 300" mark. Too bad he'll probably get poached by some moron driving down the road after a night at the local well...

WOW
I would be sticking trophy rock in all my flowerbeds.

It looks like Doyle Moss's Ranch. How much did he pay for that? Or how much did the hunter pay for the tag to kill that deer? Sorry, couldn't resist!!!

After further review and instant replay: Da buck scores 300, a perfect game! Also, did anyone pick up his sheds or have pics of him from last year? What did he score last year? How wide (outside) is he this year? Damn what a buck!

This lounging-in-the-shade pic really shows off how big this boy is...!!! Unbelievable

"Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion!" 2 Ne. 28: 24

Don't worry, he will probably get smoked out of the lawn by the next governor's tag holder.

I couldnt imagine how heavy that is. He probably wants to be shot and put out of his misery so he doesn't have to carry all that trash around anymore.

Cant say you did not think about cause I sure was had to get myself back to reallity

Sh!t, where does your friends brother work? Lets coordinate a deer drive to the National Forest.

That deer is absolutely insane!!! That pic of him laying on the lawn.....WOW.

I usually don't get excited about deer that aren't exactly wild, but LOOK AT ALL THAT BONE!!! That is nuts. I think he is easily got 300 inches there.

Someone is going to get those antlers. Would be cool just to hold that right antler when it sheds. wow

Wow! he seems to be begging to come in, in that first pic... "Come on bro, you know if I stay out here for the next couple months, I'm a deadman"...

Awesome Buck!

Does that thing have more than 2 pedicals? I looks like its growing bone out of 5 different spots.

My neck hurts for him...and what was he doing at the window, placing an order for take-out?

I just cant stop looking at this GORRRRILLLLLA. He/it is so impressive. I tried adding up his right antler (need better pics) and I come up with close to 200 inches!! Anyone else have a quess what it scores? Can you imagine picking up those cast antlers??

Sad news about this deer - just heard he was attacked and killed by a pack of loose dogs, several of which were pit bulls.

Say it ain't so! That just doesn't seem right

I was told of this buck a couple weeks ago and have been looking for him. The people in the places he hangs havnt told me of any dog attack. I hope its not true. Ill check with DOW today.

DOW knows nothin. Ill keep lookin. I know where he hangs out If hes alive Ill find him.

The buck should be close to being hard-horned. Please post pics if you find him. Thanks for your effort.

I'm curious why this buck hasn't been harvested yet...??? Seems like someone would be hunting him... Yourself included... I assume he lives in city limits or something...??

"Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion!" 2 Ne. 28: 24

HomerJ is a lying b!tch
The deer is inside city limit in area that there is no hunting.
Maybe some day he will take a stroll out to see the ladies then we can all cry about some-one killing a semi-tame city deer.LOL

I would let the air out of him in a second if he was on a legal hunting ground and I had a tag..

Cowdog...you just posted the exact bedding location of this buck...I bet you there will be at least 50 dudes in camo waiting out in the parking lot by morning!

RockyMtnOyster

Theres a police station across the street from where those pictures were taken and that last cell phone picture was taken in the hobbylobby parking lot. That buck is livin in as safe a place as he could possibly be....still lookin for him.

Thanks Cowdog. I've been looking too. He has a fortress built around him with the police station, news station, and everyone in the world keeping an eye on him. I just hope he doesn't get hit by a car.

Does anyone know if this buck has rubbed his velvet off? Does anyone have new photos, if he has stripped his antlers?

Was in the Springs the other day and got to thinking about this buck. Any recent sightings or pix?

My 85 year old dad has a Air Force Academy tag during the rut....would be somehitng if this boy started wandering looking for girls.....

Got both film and photos of this buck today. He has lost the large drop tine but still has the other.

Please say that pic is not out of city limits cause he will get dumped for sure I would really like to see what this deer does next year Gotta help with the theory of growing similar racks every year

To my knowledge there is little to no PP where this buck resides. If someone dumps him it would raise a few eyebrows..

You guys still seeing this bad boy? Would be wild te watch the gun fight over his sheds. Probably make the ok coral look like a playground fight

Is he still around? I am in the area for Christmas and would love to snap some picts of him. Any info would be appreciated.

I had a friend from Co Springs email me today and say that he heard the buck has cast his headgear? Anybody? Damn what a find that would be.
Since most of us non residents are sick and tired of listening to the whinning and crying penis envy Utards, question?, what do you think this HODAD will score even with his broken off split dropper??

Honestly, score or not, total inches or not, velvet or not, ranch deer or not...isn't that one of the greatest bucks ANY of us will ever see in a lifetime of deer hunting?AWESOME BUCK!

If he shed, he's the only one who has. They typically don't start shedding around here until the end of february, march time frame.
Hopefully he makes it, the winter here is turning out to be nothing. No snow and cool temps, not even that cold. He's got to be pushing 300. Whether he breaks it or not I don't know, but he's a stud, regardless.

My friend works for a n engineering firm near his venue. He mentioned that normally they drop their sheds in early Feb, but he thought with the bucks bazaar headgear that he must have dropped them early??? Anyway, it will be interesting to see what he grows next year. Yep...he has got to be pushing 300.

I haven't seen this buck since 11/29, but yesterday I ran into one that was seen near him. It was another 2 miles into a safer direction and still carried head gear. Last year it was well into Feburary before they dropped. I only know that because a co-worker picked up a matching set in her back yard of a 190 7x9 buck. I tried to buy them from her, but she wasn't selling. She has pictures of that buck from earlier this year and it will go well over 200.

Awesome buck for sure, but unless the rules have changed, forget about the score. Unscoreable by B&C rules. Double main beams. This doesn't mean it wouldn't make an incredible trophy. Although it may still get poached for it's uniqueness, this info may save it from being poached for what it might score. It will score zero.

Just curious ShanerR where did you get your info on B & C score? No double main beams, just counts as extra points. So this buck will have a score. If I am wrong, please tell me where I can find that info. thanks
Tinehunter

Seems to me (if I remember correctly) as long as it has a scoreable frame, then any split MBs are scored as extra points. Could be wrong. Someone should be able to shed (did someone say SHED) some light on this.

Let me get this staight...........he lives by the police station........looks like I need to start leaving donuts on the mountain instead of mineral blocks and deer caine. I think we just found a new way to grow monster bucks.

I don't care, score or no score that's still one hell of a buck.
Would love to see pics of anyone picks up his sheds.
Tinhunter

If you look close at the new photos of him on fieldandstream.com you get a better look at his bases and main beams. It will be hard to score him since he has stuff all over, but his overall mass will add up where he might fall short on length of points. But remember, you can't score him unless he it taken "fair chase". As long as he stays in city limits he should be ok. I would still love to put the tape to his sheds.

That looks like a great shooting window. I would first call the taxidermist, and second call the window company to fix the glass. Not a bad problem to have for a buck like that.

DANG!! This thread is sure hard-up!

Y'all need to take yer big cameras down to the little hippy village of Creststone if ya wanna get into some big 'suburban' dwelling monsters...though doncha even THINK about killin one of them big buggers, them hippies will tear ya limb from limb!

you guys remind me of a bunch of sophmores slathering over the prom queen...nah, hell its even more pathetic than that :)

Lawn Bucks, ha! Silly business...

Well, you arrogant pr!ck...I could care less where this deer is located. It is a huge deer with a very unique rack and I am glad it is a lawn buck, because if it wasn't it would be dead. The story is about pictures and picking up sheds, not killing it...so climb down off your high horse. I am looking forward to seeing what he grows next year and there is nothing wrong or pathetic about that.

Hey GreatWestern, you and I need to get together, me and that "Golden Mule dog" you say I have, and you can bring that Pony Ring Horse you got. We can make a video "How to train a master trail horse".

Ha! Yessir LongRangin, that there is a brilliant idea...but shoot, why stop there? We should just start a breeding program!
